We Do The Most Aesthetic and Precise Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges are artificial teeth that provide a fast yet strong and aesthetic fix for decayed, fractured, or missing teeth. These options allow you to retain as much of your existing teeth as possible.

Aesthetics is as important as functionality in crowns and bridges. Hence, traditional gold crowns have given way to equally durable but more natural-looking prostheses made of ceramic (for anterior teeth), zirconia, or porcelain-fused metal (for posterior teeth).

Our skilled prosthodontists can give you beautiful, functional teeth using crowns and bridges. These artificial teeth can last for over 15 years with proper maintenance and dental care. Even if your crown or bridge has loosened or fallen out, come see us for an excellent fix up.

When Do You Need Dental Crowns

A crown, "caps" a damaged tooth to restore normal shape and function. The natural tooth is reduced and prepared before the crown is cemented onto it to become the existing tooth's new outer surface.

We recommend crowns when a tooth is:

  • Discolored or misshapen

  • Severely weakened due to a large cavity

  • Cracked or chipped

  • Brittle due to a previous root canal treatment

When Do You Need Dental Bridges?

A bridge is a fixed replacement for missing teeth. It has crowns at either end that are fixed onto neighboring natural teeth or implants to bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.

Missing teeth can cause several oral health issues, so we recommend a dental bridge to:

  • Enhance your smile

  • Prevent the remaining teeth from shifting into the missing tooth’s space

  • Help in proper bite-force distribution

  • Avoid facial muscle sag caused by missing teeth

  • Enable proper speech and chewing

How Are Crowns and Bridges Fixed?

  • The natural teeth are first reduced in size.

  • An impression is made.

  • A temporary crown or bridge is placed to cover the prepared tooth/teeth.

  • The crown/bridge is fabricated with porcelain or zirconia to match the exact shade of your natural teeth.

  • The temporary crown/bridge is then removed, and the permanent crown or bridge is cemented over the prepared tooth or teeth.
